Video Recipe – Vegetable Smoothie Recipe

One way to get fussy eaters to eat vegetables is to hide them in delicious recipes just like this one! The colour of this creation is amazing which just proves it’s overflowing with minerals and vitamins and immunity support! 

Vegetable Smoothie

Makes – 1L
Serves – 2 to 4 people

Ingredients

  • 1 whole orange (peeled)
  • 2 whole apples (quartered)
  • 1 small carrot
  • 1 half stick celery
  • 1 beetroot (peeled)
  • 1 small slice ginger
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 ½ cups ice

Optional

  • 1 whole lemon (peeled)

Method

  1. Add all ingredients to the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Select Variable 1. Start the machine, slowly increase to its highest speed, and blend for 60-90 seconds.
  3. Use the tamper to effectively press the ingredients into the blades whilst processing.
  4. Stop the machine and serve.
