Cha Cha Chai Smoothie Submitted by Claire Walters - Raw Blend

Relax and re-boost your energy levels after your workout with out Cha Cha Chai Smoothie Recipe using ingredients like organic chai tea and vanilla flavoured pea protein powder.

Preparation

  1. Brew some organic chai tea for about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Remove the tea bags/tea leaves and leave in the fridge to cool.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chai tea mixture
  • 1/4 tsp freshly grated nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch Himalayan sea salt
  • 1 banana (peeled)
  • 1 tsp maca powder
  • 1 1/2 scoops vanilla flavoured protein powder
  • 6 ice cubes

Optional

  • Sweetener of your choice to taste. eg, dates, honey, coconut syrup or stevia.

Method

  1. Put all the ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Select speed 1, turn the machine on and quickly increase to the highest speed.
  3. Use tamper to effectively press the ingredients into the blades if required whilst processing.
  4. Blend for 45-60 seconds or until desired consistency is reached.
  5. Stop the machine and serve.
