How to Make a Raw Superfood Protein Bars / Balls using the Vitamix Blender

How you going? It's Tommy here from Raw Blend. Today I'm going to show you how to make raw superfood protein bars. So easy to do. I love making these all the time. Such a quick, easy snack. I'm going to make it right here in my Vitamix blender.

So I'm going to start with three quarters of a cup of nuts. I'm using almond nuts. You can use cashew nuts, brazil nuts, doesn't matter. There you go. I'm going to put in one cup of dried fruit. Any sort of dried fruit you can use. I'm using raisins, but you can use dried apricots or dates. In they go. I'm going to put in half a cup of of trail mix. This is pura vita, just with chia seeds and flax seeds, things like that. Half a cup, in it goes, and two tablespoons of raw cacao, cacao nibs rather, and I'm using Loving Earth, raw cacao, absolutely delicious. In it goes.

I'm going to put in one tablespoon of hemp protein powder. This is new. This is Lariese hemp protein made in New Zealand. Absolutely delicious. One tablespoon. And I'm going to add some superfoods as well. I'm going to add one teaspoon of Loving Earth maqui berry powder, and one teaspoon of Green Superfoods, that's by Green Nutritionals. Absolutely delicious. And all those products are available for purchase on our website.

Now that looks pretty good. Now what I'm going to do, I'm going to lock my lid into place. I'm going to pulse it on speed five, for five or six times. So you ready? All right. Now you'll work the speed up to a speed ten, up on the high speed, while using the tamper. I'm going to wait until I get a high pitched sound, and then I'll start using the tamper. I'll wait to get a high pitch sound again, and then I'll use the tamper. So here we go. Beautiful. That's how easy it is.

It almost forms like a dough inside the container there. You can turn the container upside down. You can just wait for that, it's actually going to fall out of the container. You can give the blades a little bit of twist there if you like, and it should fall down any second now. Give it a little tap if it's being a bit stubborn. And away it goes. It comes straight out of the container like that.

Just give that way a little bit of a spin to get any excess off, and there we have it. So we got our raw superfood protein bar. So what I can do, it's nice and warm, see that, beautiful. I can roll it into a ball. You can get a rolling pin. Just roll that out. Work that out. I can make slices out of it. Or I can make little protein bars out of it. Whatever you prefer to do. You can get just a bit of shredded coconut, sprinkle that on there. Delicious. Ready to go. Let's try some of that. So, so good. And that's going to take in the fridge for about five days. Absolutely beautiful. Enjoy!
