A green spin on traditional hummus! Whip this up in your Vitamix blender for when you have guests over, or if you’re just after a simple and healthy snack.
- 240g organic chick peas (1 drained can)
- 3 cups organic kale or spinach
- juice 2 lemons
- 2 Tbps unhulled tahini
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tsp ground cumin seeds
- 1 glove garlic
- Himalayan rock salt and pepper (to taste)
- Put all the ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
- Select speed 1, turn the machine on and quickly increase to the highest speed.
- Use the tamper to effectively press the ingredients into the blades whilst processing.
- Blend for 30-45 seconds or until desired consistency is reached.
- Stop the machine and serve.
