Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

A dip with a difference, our Red Pepper Hummus recipe is the perfect dip to spice things up a little for your guests. If you're not used to hot, spicy flavours you can also try our traditional Hummus recipe.



  • 3/4 cup roasted red peppers
  • 3 cup chickpeas
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 ½ Tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 garlic cloves (peeled)
  • small slice hot chilli
  • salt & pepper to taste


  1. Put all the ingredients into the Vitamix 2L container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Select Variable 1. Turn the machine on and quickly increase the speed to 10, then override to High.
  3. Use the tamper to effectively press the ingredients into the blades whilst processing.
  4. Blend for 45-60 seconds or until desired consistency is reached.
  5. Stop the machine and serve.
