How to Make Shrek’s Baby Food With the Vitamix
Hey guys, it’s Tommy here from Raw Blend. Today, I’m going to show you how to make one of my niece’s favourite recipes. This is called Shrek’s Baby Food. A delicious little recipe for the young ones. I’m going to start off. We’re going to put in half an avocado. Avocados are fantastic for babies’ brain development. Really, really good. And some of the best nutritious foods for kids are dark leafy greens.
So we’re going to put in some steamed spinach, just about a handful. A couple of florets of steamed broccoli and one cup of steamed peas as well. We’re going to need a little bit of water in there just to get that puree going. So, I’ve got about 100 ml of water there and I’ll lock it all into place. And we’re going to use our tamper and start it at a slow speed. Here we go. Get it up to about speed seven or eight. And I’ll just continue to use that tamper until we get a nice baby food puree. [Blender noise] Done. That’s it. It’s that simple. And you’ve got fresh, delicious, homemade baby food, ready to serve.
Like I said, great for brain development and really good nutritious vegetables were chosen here. And my niece isn’t here to try this recipe so the closest thing to a baby we have at the Raw Blend showroom is Monique. Come on! Try some of this. Tell me what you think.
- Monique: Thank you.
- Tommy: Is that good?
- Monique: That’s actually really good.
- Tommy: Yeah?
- Monique: I really like that. Thanks Tommy.
- Tommy: No worries. Thank you, big baby. And thanks, guys. Cheers.
