Blenders for cafes and smoothie bars
For drinks and smoothies made to order, look at the Vitamix Quiet One, Drink Machine Advance and Drink Machine Two-Speed, and the Blendtec Stealth 885, Stealth 895 Nitro 2.0 and Connoisseur 825, including the Connoisseur 825 Space Saver with two FourSide jars. For kitchens that blend soups, sauces and purees, there is the Vitamix Vita-Prep 3 and the Vitamix XL Blender with its 5.6L container.

The Hallde VCB-32 and VCB-62 vertical cutter blenders are made for acai and smoothie bowls, and the Hallde SB-4 has a 4L jug for larger batches. The Kuvings CB1000 is a commercial auto blender that removes air from the jug before blending.   • Ascent or Explorian: which Vitamix is right for me?

    Both have Vitamix's powerful motor and hardened stainless steel blades, and both make silky smoothies, hot soups, nut butters and nice cream.

    The Explorian E310 keeps it simple, with a dial for 10 variable speeds and pulse, at a lower price. The Ascent Series adds a built-in digital timer and Self-Detect containers that the base recognises, and its containers are dishwasher-safe. The A2500i and A3500i add program settings.   • Vitamix for home or Vitamix for business?

    Household Vitamix blenders are made for a wide variety of everyday tasks and come with a 5 to 10 year warranty. Commercial blenders are built for busy cafés, restaurants and bars that make the same drinks or dishes again and again, with a 3 year warranty on parts and 1 year on labour. Most Vitamix machines share the same high-performance motor and patented blade design.

  • Can I buy a Vitamix overseas and use it here?

    We don't recommend it. A Vitamix warranty is only valid in the country where it was bought (Australia and New Zealand cover each other), and a 120V American machine needs an expensive transformer, not a simple adaptor. Buying from an Australian dealer keeps you covered.

  • Who looks after Vitamix warranty and repairs?

    Household Vitamix warranty and repairs are handled by Fackelmann Australia, the Australian household Vitamix importer (1800 709 714, support@fackelmann.com.au). Commercial Vitamix is looked after by SKOPE Australia (1800 121 535).
