Vitamix didn’t just join the high-performance blending industry. They invented it. A fourth-generation family-owned and operated business, Vitamix created the original high-performance blender 1921 in Cleveland, Ohio in the USA. Since then the popularity of Vitamix has spread to more than 100 countries and has become the preferred blender for cooking enthusiasts, chefs and health and nutrition experts around the globe. What a Vitamix does

A Vitamix is the one machine that replaces several. The same container makes silky smoothies and smoothie bowls from frozen fruit, nut milks from soaked almonds, hot soup from raw vegetables (the blades alone heat it in about six minutes), nut butters, hummus, batters, sorbets and ice cream from frozen fruit, and it grinds grains and coffee with the dry container.

The difference is the motor and the blade: it does not chop, it pulverises, so kale, seeds and skins disappear into a smooth drink with the fibre kept in. That is why the machines carry a 7 to 10 year warranty and why the same models are used in cafes all day. Raw Blend has been an original Australian Vitamix dealer since 2010, so every machine here is the Australian model with the local warranty and our own support behind it.

    I was a little reluctant to pay this much for a blender but have since realised that this appliance can achieve so much more than just my daily smoothie. It is versatile and can be used in some way for almost every meal, from sauces, pesto, pastes, burger patties, anything... I highly recommend it!!!! And postage was very speedy :)

  • Best investment ever

    I ordered my Vitamix package late on a Wednesday afternoon and was blown away when it arrived before Friday lunchtime... Have used it every day since, often multiple times a day. Have my 87 year old dad hooked on frozen desserts, and 85 year old mum and I are eating heaps of veggies each day, in soups and other goodies. This is an awesome product and an awesome company to buy it from. Would recommend it all highly. Go on - get one from Raw Blend!

  • How can a Vitamix cook soups and freeze ice cream?

    High-speed blade action is the secret. For frozen treats, the blades crush frozen ingredients so fast there is no time for melting. For soups, the blade speed builds friction heat that brings fresh ingredients to piping hot in 4 to 6 minutes.

  • How do you clean a Vitamix?

    Full-size Vitamix machines clean themselves in 60 seconds or less, with no taking apart. Ascent Series containers are also dishwasher-safe.

  • Do I need a 3 horsepower blender at home?

    No. Household Vitamix blenders are built for everyday home tasks, and the whole design (blades, container, tamper, motor and bearings) is what gives the results. Vitamix's 3 HP motors are for commercial kitchens making hundreds of thick blends a day.

  • Ascent or Explorian: which Vitamix is right for me?

    Both have Vitamix's powerful motor and hardened stainless steel blades, and both make silky smoothies, hot soups, nut butters and nice cream.

    The Explorian E310 keeps it simple, with a dial for 10 variable speeds and pulse, at a lower price. The Ascent Series adds a built-in digital timer and Self-Detect containers that the base recognises, and its containers are dishwasher-safe. The A2500i and A3500i add program settings.   • Vitamix for home or Vitamix for business?

    Household Vitamix blenders are made for a wide variety of everyday tasks and come with a 5 to 10 year warranty. Commercial blenders are built for busy cafés, restaurants and bars that make the same drinks or dishes again and again, with a 3 year warranty on parts and 1 year on labour. Most Vitamix machines share the same high-performance motor and patented blade design.

  • Can I buy a Vitamix overseas and use it here?

    We don't recommend it. A Vitamix warranty is only valid in the country where it was bought (Australia and New Zealand cover each other), and a 120V American machine needs an expensive transformer, not a simple adaptor. Buying from an Australian dealer keeps you covered.

  • Who looks after Vitamix warranty and repairs?

    Household Vitamix warranty and repairs are handled by Fackelmann Australia, the Australian household Vitamix importer (1800 709 714, support@fackelmann.com.au). Commercial Vitamix is looked after by SKOPE Australia (1800 121 535).
