Introducing the Beginner Green Smoothie – a delicious and easy-to-make green blend! Filled with fresh, refreshing ingredients that you already know. This is the perfect recipe – it’s easy to make, packed with nutrients, and will kickstart your love for green smoothies!


  • 2 bananas
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 apple (quartered)
  • 1/2 lemon (peeled)
  • 1-2 cups of spinach
  • 1 cup water
  • 1-2 cups ice


  1. Put all the ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Select speed 1, turn the machine on and quickly increase to the highest speed.
  3. Use tamper to effectively press the ingredients into the blades if required whilst processing.
  4. Blend for 50 seconds or until desired consistency is reached.
  5. Alternatively, use the smoothie function on your Vitamix blender.
  6. Stop the machine and serve.
