Candy Apple Smoothie Submitted by Claire Walters - Raw Blend

Love the idea of candy apples but hate the thought of what they do to your teeth? Well… treat yourself to this smoothie version made in the Vitamix.


  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 green apple (cored)
  • 1 kiwi fruit (peeled)
  • 2 Tbsp almond butter
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 heaped Tbsp date paste (medjool dates soaked for 24 hours)
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla paste
  • good pinch cinnamon
  • pinch Himalayan sea salt
  • ice


  1. Put all the ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Select speed 1, turn the machine on and quickly increase to the highest speed.
  3. Use tamper to effectively press the ingredients into the blades if required whilst processing.
  4. Blend for 45-60 seconds or until desired consistency is reached.
  5. Stop the machine and serve.
