Coconut Green Smoothie Submitted by Tommy - Raw Blend

Enjoy this refreshing Green Smoothie with the added (and stealth) addition of Greens and the goodness of coconut and chia seeds. An easy one to whip up on the Vitamix!


  • 1 young coconut (flesh and water)
  • 1 good handful spinach
  • 2 bananas (peeled)
  • 1 tsp of chia seeds
  • 1 sprig fresh mint
  • 2-3 cups ice


  1. Put all the ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Select speed 1, turn the machine on and quickly increase to the highest speed.
  3. Use tamper to effectively press the ingredients into the blades if required whilst processing.
  4. Blend for 45-60 seconds or until desired consistency is reached.
  5. Stop the machine and serve.
