Pear & Walnut Smoothie Submitted by Raw Blend

This Pear and Walnut smoothie is deliciously creamy! It tastes like a liquid dessert and only take minutes to make in your Vitamix.


  • 2-3 pears (quartered)
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 cup filtered water
  • 3-4 dates
  • tsp raw honey
  • dash cinnamon
  • dash nutmeg
  • 1-2 cups ice


  1. Put all the ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Select speed 1, turn the machine on and quickly increase to the highest speed.
  3. Use tamper to effectively press the ingredients into the blades if required whilst processing.
  4. Blend for 50-60 seconds or until desired consistency is reached.
  5. Stop the machine and serve.
