Ingredients
- 1 1/3 cups raw cacao powder
- 1/2 cup raw honey or maple syrup
- 1/3 cup coconut oil
- 1 tsp of vanilla paste
- pinch of Himalayan salt
- 3 ½ cups coconut flakes or shredded coconut
Optional
- liquid stevia (to sweeten)
Method
- Put all the ingredients into a large bowl in the order listed above and mix well.
- Roll small portions of the mixture and then flatten out on a greaseproof tray.
- Dehydrate at 110 Fahrenheit (44 degrees Celsius) for 24 hours. They should come out crisp on the outside and nice and chewy on the inside.
Notes
- If you don’t have a food dehydrator, pop them on some wax paper and set them in the fridge overnight or for a few hours. Serve them minutes after you have taken them out of the fridge.
