Start your winter mornings with our delightful Spiced Banana Smoothie recipe! This is a delicious and flavoursome blend, and will give you an energising start to your day.


  • 3 large bananas
  • 1 handful blanched almonds
  • 1-2 medjool dates (pitted)
  • 1 dash all spice (to taste)
  • 2-3 cups of ice
  • extra allspice or nutmeg for a garnish


  1. Put all the ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Select speed 1, turn the machine on and quickly increase to the highest speed.
  3. Use tamper to effectively press the ingredients into the blades if required whilst processing.
  4. Blend for 50 seconds or until desired consistency is reached.
  5. Alternatively, use the smoothie function on your Vitamix blender.
  6. Stop the machine and serve.
