Ingredients
- 1 handful spinach or kale
- 2 bananas (frozen)
- 1 green apple (cored)
- 6 dates (pitted)
- 2 Tbsp raw honey
- 2 Tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
- 3 Tbsp Greek yoghurt
- 1 cup nut milk (I use home-made almond milk)
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup pecans
- 1/4 cup Brazil nuts
Optional
- 1-2 cups ice (add as desired)
- decorate the inside of your glass with black strap molasses streaks.
Method
- Pour all the liquids into your Vitamix blender.
- Add the remaining ingredients.
- Blend on low speed and increase to high speed until smooth.
- Serve in a mason jar for that rustic feel and sprinkle extra cinnamon on top.
