Pre Gym Smoothie Submitted by Tommy - Raw Blend

This is the perfect Pre-Workout Smoothie. The perfect way to kick start your morning so don’t bother hitting the snooze button! There is nothing better than starting your day after a good night’s sleep with a powerful workout!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup organic rice milk (or similar)
  • 1 banana – Give your body a banana boost!
  • 5 strawberries
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 tsp spirulina
  • 1 tsp acai berry
  • 1/3 cup organic barley oats
  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1-2 cups ice

Optional

  • 1 tsp organic honey

Method

  1. Put all the ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Select speed 1, turn the machine on and quickly increase to the highest speed.
  3. Use tamper to effectively press the ingredients into the blades if required whilst processing.
  4. Blend for 60-90 seconds or until desired consistency is reached.
  5. Stop the machine and serve.
