How to Make Healthy Baby Food Puree in the Vitamix Blender
Video Transcription:
Hi, it’s Tommy from Raw Blend. My beautiful two-year-old niece Olivia is entirely fed from the Vitamix machine. She lives off it. So easy to make quick, healthy, and delicious baby foods right here in your Vitamix blender.
When I go to the supermarket it amazes me. All the mothers I see, and they’re looking at the label on the side of the baby food trying to figure out what’s in it. Well, you don’t have to worry when you own a Vitamix. You know what you’re putting in here. You know what you’re putting into your baby’s belly.
So today I’m going to show you how simple it is to make. I’ve got some banana, just going to put in half a banana. I’ve got a bit of carrot, put in half a carrot.
A little bit of apple. Once again, just half an apple with the seeds, stem, the peel. Now we’re getting all that extra nutrition as well and some pineapple, nice sweet pineapple. The baby’s going to love this.
You can make any sort of pureed baby food. It doesn’t matter. You can put spinach in here if you like as well. A little bit of pineapple. Looks good. All right, we’ll lock our lid into place. I’m going to get that up onto a puree speed, which is about speed seven, for about a minute or so just to make it nice and smooth.
All right, that’s it. We’re done. All right, we’ll serve you up some of this. Look how smooth this comes out. The baby’s not going to notice those apple seeds and things that are in there getting all that good nutrition.
So it’s going to keep your baby healthy and smiling. I might as well try some of this, eh? Pretty good. Maybe it’s not just for babies.
