With the growing expansion of Vegetarians, Vegans and Raw Foodists in today’s society, we have begun investigating more and more the diet of a human being, our amazing body capabilities and what we need to maintain a healthy mind, body and soul.
Protein is one of those important substances that our bodies need. Protein becomes hormones, enzymes and antibodies that help our body to maintain functionality as well as rebuild and regenerate.
Thanks to this research we are now educated enough to know that you don’t have to eat just meat or even dairy products to gain the recommended daily dose of protein each day (which is approximately 56g for the average male and 46 for the average female). There are plenty of fantastic and delicious alternatives out there. You just have to know where to look! So i have put together a list of some of my favourite MEAT FREE Protein Sources.
Get creative – don’t be afraid to try something new! And remember, you don’t have to be a vegan, vegetarian or Raw Foodie to enjoy them.
