Pear & Walnut Smoothie

Pear & Walnuts … It’s a match made in heaven. The Perfect Pear Smoothie is just the right blend of goodness that it almost tastes naughty!

Pear & Walnut Smoothie

Makes: 1.5 – 2L
Serves: 2-4




  • 2-3 pears
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1 cup filtered water
  • 3-4 dates
  • 1-2 cups spinach
  • tsp raw honey
  • cinnamon
  • nutmeg


  1. Put all the smoothie ingredients into the Vitamix 2L container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Select Variable 1. Turn the machine on and quickly increase the speed to 10, then override to High.
  3. Use tamper to effectively press the ingredients into the blades if required whilst processing.
  4. Blend for 60 seconds or until desired consistency is reached. If you would like you smoothie mix thicker you can add in your macadamias now and blend until smooth.
  5. Stop the machine, poor into your glass and top with crushed walnuts, raw honey, chopped pear & sprinkle a little cinnamon on top and enjoy!

Make sure you use a good quality high powered blender to ensure a smooth and creamy blend every time! We can’t go past the Vitamix.
