How to Knead Dough & Bake Bread using a Vitamix Blender
Hi, it’s Tommy from Raw Blend. Here in my dry container, I’ve just finished grinding my whole wheat into flour and I’m going to show you how easy it is to knead dough. You don’t have to get sticky hands ever again. You can knead dough right here in the Vitamix blender.
This is perfect for making breads, pasta or even a beautiful pizza bases. Now here we have some yeast, sugar, and water. I’m just going to pour it into the hole that formed in the center of the flour here. Pour that straight in. All right.
Now what we’re going to do, we’re going to lock our lid into place and I’m just going to pulse that for about two seconds. Now I’m going to let that sit for a couple of minutes. This is a great time to grease your oven tray and set the oven at the right temperature.
We’ve let that sit. Now what we’re going to do, we’re just going to pulse that five times on and off very quickly. Now we just grab a wet spatula here and we’re just going to bring the sides in with the spatula. And we’re just going to repeat that process about five times. Once again, I’m just grabbing a wet spatula and I’m just going to pull the sides in. And just keep repeating that process about five or six times until we’ve got a nice dough ball.
Now finally I’m just going to pulse this for 2 seconds, just to raise this right off the blade, right away we go. I’m just going to get a wet spatula and going to pour this straight out into our oven tray, and then spread that out using the wet spatula. That looks pretty good, let it sit for about 10 minutes before putting it into the oven.
I’m going to show you one I made earlier. Look at that, straight out of the oven, beautiful fresh bread and you know what it’s got in there.
