How to Make Almond & Chia Butter With A Vitamix Blender
Hey guys, it’s Tommy here at Raw Blend. Today I’m going to show you how to make an almond and chia butter. Almonds are so healthy for you. They are actually the only nut, and one of the few proteins, that are alkaline forming. We want to keep our bodies alkalized to prevent disease for optimal health. A really simple recipe.
I’m going to put in about two and a half cups of roasted almonds. If you don’t want to use roasted almonds you can use raw almonds, you need to add some oil in there with it. Two and a half cups. Beautiful. I’m going to add some chia seeds. Great for your omega threes. One of the highest levels of omega threes – plant based omega threes that is.
That’s all we need to put in there. Such a simple recipe. You can put some Himalayan rock salt in there if you like. I’m just going to keep it real simple. Lock your lid into place. I’m going to use the tamper, high speed for about one minute. Away we go.
Beautiful. It’s that simple. What I like to do, if you want to make it a bit crunchy you can add some extra chia seeds in there. I’m just going to put a little bit of chia back in there. I’m going to do that just on a slow speed.
Just to mix it through. Just for about five seconds. That’s all you need. Beautiful. Ready to go. Try some of that. A little bit of celery. Always a winner. Beautiful. Happy blending guys.
